These are antibody preparations generated in rabbit by Dr. William North Professor of Physiology and Neurobiology of Dartmouth Medical School (now Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College) using oxytocin-associated bovine neurophysin protein purified by preparative electrophoresis as antigen.
Specificity: Less than 1% reactivity with Bovine Neurophysin2 (Vasopressin-Associated Bovine Neurophysin, VP-BNP) in RIA
